<p>The steam iron with a scaling indicator comprises a radiator (3) having a vaporization chamber (30), where the radiator has electrical resistance heater (31) whose operation is controlled by a thermostat (6) equipped with unit used to count the number of cycles of opening or closing of the thermostat. The scaling indicator is activated depending on the number of thermostat cycles. A cord is used to connect with electrical network supply and unit to count the number of connection and disconnection of the cord. The electrical network supply is used to determine the number of pressing cycles. A knob enables the activation when the scaling indicator is activated by resetting the calculation of consumed electric power. The knob comprises self-cleaning knob causing the sudden arrival of a large amount of water into the vaporization chamber.</p> |
