A lamp device is provided to reduce the danger of electric shock by not exposing a connecting wire of a power socket and a circuit board outside. A lamp device has an electronic ballast(60), which includes a circuit board, a case upper plate, and a case lower plate. The circuit board has a lighting circuit which lights on a lamp. The case upper plate receives the circuit board. The case upper plate is coupled at the upper surface of the case lower plate, and a lamp socket(70) is coupled at the lower surface of the case lower plate. The case lower plate is installed at the upper surface of the upper plate. A power socket installing plate(64) is protruded from one side of the case lower plate, and has a power socket(80) at the upper surface. A wire withdrawn from the power socket(80) is coupled to the circuit board. |
