METHOD OF INHIBITING APOPTOSIS BY INHIBITION OF FLASH ACTIVITY

A FLASH(FLICE-associated huge protein) aptamer is provided to inhibit the TNF-alpha derived apoptosis and effectively inhibit the TNF-alpha derived and Fas derived apoptosis, thereby being usefully used for developing a therapeutic agent of stroke or neurodegenerative diseases. A method for inhibiting apoptosis comprises a step of inhibiting the activity of FLASH using a peptide aptamer. An apoptosis inhibitor comprises an activity inhibitor of FLASH as an effective ingredient, wherein the activity inhibitor is a peptide aptamer specifically linked to the FLASH and having at least one amino acid sequence among sequences described as SEQ ID : NOs. 17 to 21. A therapeutic agent for treating diseases related to apoptosis comprises the apoptosis inhibitor as an effective ingredient, wherein the diseases related to apoptosis is stroke, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease or Lou Gehrig's disease.
