A method for controlling a heating course of a drum type washing machine is provided to prevent time loss from being generated by an unnecessary error by newly setting standard temperature of washing water when washes the laundry with hot water. A method for controlling a heating course of a drum type washing machine comprises the steps: starting a hot water washing course(S110); sensing temperature of water every as often as set time passes(S140); judging whether sensed present temperature of water is below set standard temperature of water or not, and setting the present temperature of water as a new standard temperature if the present temperature of water is lower than the set standard temperature(S150,S170). |
