A washing machine is provided to prevent a drum from being tilted to one direction and to prevent aerodynamic noise when rotates the drum by installing pressure balancing unit and regulating pressure between the drum and the tub. A washing machine comprises a cabinet, a tub(120), a drum(130), and a pressure balancing unit(126). The tub is installed in the cabinet and storing water. An opening(122) wherein laundry is injected, is formed at one part of the tub. The drum is rotatably installed in the tub and storing the laundry. The pressure balancing unit regulates pressure between the tub and the drum so as to maintain pressure equally. The pressure balancing unit is an air path hole. The air path hole allows air between the tub and the drum to be communicated with outdoor air of the tub, thereby regulating pressure between the tub and the drum equally. |
