A method and a system for billing a fixed rate for multi-file structured contents are provided to bill traffics for transferring contents irrespective of a quantity of the packets, and bill a patch or an extension pack of basic contents. A contents providing server(210) is connected to a mobile terminal(200), receives contents transfer request information of the contents comprising a multi-file from the mobile terminal, generates/transmits package list information for the requested contents to the mobile terminal, and transfers the multi-file forming the contents to the mobile terminal according to the package list information. The multi-file includes at least one of an execution file, a DLL(Dynamic Link Library) file, and a resource file. The package list information includes the information for more than one file storing a billing command. A billing server(230) processes billing based on the file including the billing command. A packet quantity calculating server(240) calculates the quantity of packets of the file including the billing command, and replaces the calculated packet quantity with a predetermined packet quantity. The billing server processes the billing by applying the fixed rate to the replaced packet quantity. |
