SECURE METHOD FOR GENERATING ONE TIME PASSWORD AND INTERPRETING ONE TIME PASSWORD

A method for generating and interpreting a safe OTP is provided to apply the same mode even if a VIS(Virtual Input System) safe card is not found by enabling a user to generate the safe OTP when necessary, and generate and interpret the safe OTP in any case by using the system capable of generating a matching table value of the VIS safe card. An SPU(Secret Process Unit) prepares to read a value of the VIS safe card corresponding to an ID stored in a memory if the user inputs the ID. A random number is generated and transmitted to the user. The OTP is generated by using the received random number and the VIS safe card. The generated OTP is inputted and transmitted. The SPU determines agreement by comparing the value of the VIS safe card with the value generated by computing the random number. The OTP is generated by obtaining the value from the matching table of the VIS safe card matched with the received random number and adding the code table value of the VIS safe card selected by the user and the obtained value.
