The device has a pressurized degassing tank (1) forming a part of an engine cooling circuit in an engine compartment. A washing water tank (2) partially surrounds the degassing tank and leaves an intermediate space (3) between the tanks. A double-walled hollow body (4) is integrated in the space and constitutes a closed thermal insulating screen between the tank (1) and a wall of the tank (2). The body, which is closed and sealed in the space, is filled with a heat transfer fluid (6) e.g. polypropylene glycol, to improve the transfer of calories of the tank (1) toward the tank (2).
