A flow rate measuring apparatus is provided to measure the flow rate of fluid with high precision based on a sound wave signal detected by a detecting unit by reliably propagating the sound wave signal. A flow rate measuring apparatus(20) includes a housing(12), and a pair of detecting units(16a,16b). The housing has a path(26) to supply fluid such as water or chemical solutions. The detecting units have sound wave transmitting and receiving units(14) to transmit and receive sound wave signals, and are arranged at the ends of the housing respectively. The flow rate measuring apparatus further includes a cover member which is located in the housing, faces the path, and has a curved surface(46) extended to the path. The sound wave transmitting and receiving unit is located in the cover member to face the path, and transmits and receives the sound wave signals through the curved surface.
