AIR CONDITIONING APPARATUS USING GAS HEAT PUMP

A gas heat pump type air conditioner is provided to improve heating capability by using arrangement of cogeneration system without increasing a number of processes. A gas heat pump type air conditioner comprises: an outdoor unit(10); an indoor unit(30); a cooling liquid circuit; a third heat exchanger(54); a cooling liquid circuit; and thermostat valves(56). The outdoor unit includes a gas engine, a compressor(12) driven by the gas engine and compressing refrigerants, an outdoor heat exchanger(15) operating as a condenser for refrigerants at the time of cooling operation and operating as an evaporator for refrigerant at the time heating operation, a first cooling liquid circuit circulating cooling liquid exchanging heat between arrangement of the gas engine, a first heat exchanger installed to the first cooling liquid flow path and having function as evaporator of refrigerants in heating operation. The indoor unit includes an indoor heat exchanger operating as an evaporator for refrigerants at the time of cooling operation and as condenser for refrigerants at the time of heating operation. The third cooling liquid circuit is connected to a second heat exchanger and a cooling liquid is circulated through the third cooling liquid circuit. The cooling liquid is heat-exchanged with discharge heat of a generator of cogeneration system and the cooling liquid is circulated through the second cooling liquid circuit. The second heat exchanger is provided for heating. The third heat exchanger is installed to the third cooling liquid circuit. The cooling liquid circuit is connected to the third heat exchanger and the first cooling liquid circuit. The thermostat valve is installed to the cooling liquid, and controls cooling liquid flow of the third heat exchanger from the first liquid circuit.
