An optical film of a side-edge type backlight module is provided to be conveniently applied to a liquid crystal panel by preventing an excessive regular form when a light source concentrates the light through a micro optical conductor. In an optical film(43) of a side-edge type backlight module(4), the module is composed of a light guide plate(41) having at least one light incident surface(411), a reflecting surface(412), and a light emitting surface(413); a reflecting piece(42) disposed at the outside of the reflecting surface on the light guide plate; the optical film having plural micro light guide bodies(431) on the first surface; and a lamp disposed at the outer side of the light incident surface of the light guide plate. The micro light guide body and an optical film body are made of same or different materials. Each micro light guide body has two or more peak ridges(4311). The peak ridges have different heights and comprise low and high ridges(4311a,4311b).
