A photochromic polyurethane coating composition containing a reactive naphthopyran compound is provided to inhibit phase separation of naphthopyran coating composition in coating solution by directly grafting with polyurethane molecule, so that a photochromic coating film is able to maintain photochromic properties of the photochromic membrane for a long period without blooming phenomenon over time. A reactive naphthopyran compound represented by the formula(1) or formula(2) is provided, wherein X^1 to X^4 are each independently hydrogen, hydroxy group, C1-C5 alkyl group, C1-C5 alkoxy group, C1-C5 hydroxy alkyl group, alkyl amine group, halogen group or -L-P group; L is a linker for connecting naphthopyran core portion to P, and is selected from -OOC-, -OOC-R1-, -OOC-R1-COO-, -R2-OOC-R1-COO-R3- and -OOC-NH-R4-NH-COO-; R1 to R3 are each independently C1-C20 branched or linear alkyl group; R4 is C1-C40 branched or linear alkyl group or C6-C40 aromatic group; P is -R5-Z; R5 is C1-C10 branched or linear alkyl group; Z is -OH, -COOH or -COOR6; and R6 is C1-C20 alkyl group.
