<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet a user's request to get an apparatus for measuring stress on his/her pet, because the request is accepted from the user in the provision of stress measuring equipment for the human body, on ground that a keeper cannot become easily aware of the stress on his/her pet (a small animal such as a dog and a cat). <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus provides a stimulus by making a faint electric current pass between an electrode of an electrode sensor 1 fixed to a paw and an electrode of an electrode sensor 2 fixed to a hind leg, converts it to a biopotential between the electrodes, and subsequently, computes it as a stress value from a peculiar algorithm for the pet. After that, the result and indication of that computation are displayed in an easy-to-understand manner on a monitor part 4 with a touch screen.
