<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cursor-controlling unit which is excellent in operability. <P>SOLUTION: The cursor-controlling unit controls cursors on the screens of monitors (38 and 52) and has operating objects (26 and 30; 26A and 30A) which are rotatively held. The operating objects are provided with first and second tactile-stimulus parts, which comprise concave parts and convex parts which are alternately formed at the same interval along the periphery of the rotational axis line of the operating objects. The operating objects are engaged with a first and second switches (20A; 20B), respectively. When the first tactile-stimulus parts are depressed, only the first switch is turned on, and, when the second tactile-stimulus parts are depressed, only the second switch is turned on. When the operating objects are depressed between the first and second tactile-stimulus parts, both the first and second switches are turned on.
