<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a local oscillator which is excellent in frequency stability and phase noise property. <P>SOLUTION: The local oscillator outputs at least two local oscillation signals which are inputted to a predetermined signal processing means, and is provided with a first oscillation means generating a first local oscillation signal which is a fixed frequency, and a second oscillation means generating a second local oscillation signal which is a variable frequency.
