PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push switch lowering height in the operation direction of the switch. SOLUTION: This push switch comprises a switch block 1 opening/closing a contact, and an operation block 2 operating the switch block 1. The switch block 1 is provided with a contact mechanism housed in a case 11 for a switch for opening/closing a contact, and a changeover part 10 pressably mounted by penetrating through the case 11 for a switch closing the contact of the contact mechanism only while it is being pressed. The operation block 2 is provided with an operation body 20 pressably mounted by penetrating through the case 22 for operation, and a lock mechanism housed in the case 22 for operation holding the operation body 20 with the operation body 20 pressed in. The switch block 1 and the operation block 2 are arranged side by side orthogonal to the operation direction of the operation body 20, and a sub-operation body 21 pressedly plunging the changeover part 10 interlocking with the operation body 20 is provided.
