PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toggle switch with locking mechanism in which the locking mechanism is not seen through by visual inspection and cost can be reduced by reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: The toggle switch with locking mechanism has a lever 4 which is displaced always downward and rotates only by a limited angle centered on an expanded portion 4A. The toggle switch is equipped with projections for locking 4D, 4D' formed at the lower end part 4B of the lever 4, and a guiding plate 12 at the lower end part 4B of the lever 4 which is provided with a guiding hole 4 and locking projection receiving parts 12B, 12B' formed at both sides of this guiding hole 12A.
