PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of easily obtaining a multifocal lens having improved optical performance, and to provide the multifocal lens. SOLUTION: Regarding the method of manufacturing the multifocal lens constituted of one-group of three-layered lenses by using three kinds of lens materials having glass deformation point temperatures of At1, At2 and At3, and by shaping the lens material by a heat press method, the glass deformation point temperatures have a relation of At1>At2>At3. After molding a first lens 11 by shaping a first lens material having the glass deformation point temperature At1, a second lens 12 is molded by shaping a second lens material having the glass deformation point temperature At2 while using the first lens as a part of a molding die, simultaneously, the second lens 12 is bonded to the first lens 11, next, a third lens 13 is molded by shaping a third lens material having the glass deformation point temperature At3 while using the first lens 11 and the second lens 12 as a part of the molding die, simultaneously, the third lens 13 is bonded to the first lens 11 and the second lens 12.
