PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new germicide composition having an excellent degree of freedom of mixing and high germicidal power even in the presence of stain such as organic material, etc. SOLUTION: The germicide composition comprises (A) a mono- or polyglycerin mono-fatty acid ester and (B) one or more kinds of chelating agents selected from the group consisting of an organic phosphonic acid-based chelating agent and a polymer-based chelating agent.
