PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging implement for flue piping and a method of using the hanging implement improving the operation rate of a melting facility by improving the efficiency of flue piping attaching/detaching work to perform flue piping cleaning work in a short time. SOLUTION: The hanging implement 200 exclusively used for the flue piping is formed in an annular shape composed of a combination of two semi-annular half parts 200a made of steel, and the ends of the half parts 200a facing in a state of surrounding the periphery of the flue piping 30 with the two half parts 200a are clamped by a screw fastening body 201, i.e., by a bolt 201a and a nut 201b to restrict rotation to the center axis of the flue piping 30. In mounting the hanging implement 200 exclusively used for the flue piping, to the flue piping 30, an eye bolt 202 is screw-fitted to the top part of the upper side half part 200a.
