PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake abrasion estimation device for estimating the abrasion amount of a brake abrasion member with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The brake abrasion estimation device 10 comprises a temperature detection means 13 for detecting the temperature of a brake abrasion member, a temperature estimation means 14a for estimating the temperature of the brake abrasion member in a predetermined abrasion state based on the change of the braking energy from the start of the braking to the end of the braking, and an abrasion amount estimation means 14b for estimating the abrasion amount of the brake abrasion member based on the temperature of the brake abrasion member detected by the temperature detection means 13, and the temperature of the brake abrasion member in a predetermined abrasion state estimated by the temperature estimation means 14a.
