PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent set characteristic in a leaf valve from being changed when practicing locking of a piston nut by caulking the tip of the tip part of a rod body which is projected from the end of a piston nut. SOLUTION: In the caulking tool 10 for fixing the nut 4 to the tip part 2a of the rod body 2 in the fixed state, the tool has: the main body part 11 which is inserted into a hole 2e by axial direction force from the outside from the direction of the axial center line of the rod body 2 under the stopped state of rotation; also a stopper part 11a in which the main body part 11 is brought into contact with the bottom part of the hole 2e; an expanding part 11b which is continued to the rear side of the stopper 11a and with which the open end part of the hole 2e is expanded in accordance with the progress when the main body part is inserted into the hole 2e and a base part 11c which is continued to the rear side of the expanding part 11b and with which the axial direction force from the outside is received. The base part 11c is formed into a larger diameter than the diameter of the hole 2e and also the expanding part 11b has a part formed into a larger diameter than the diameter of the hole 2e.
