The invention relates to a device for separating fluid particles from a gas flow, in particular a crankcase gas flow of an internal combustion engine. A valve is provided in order to divide the gas flow between at least two cyclones as a function of the volumetric flow. This valve consists of a cylinder through which the gas flow can flow. A piston is located inside the cylinder. This piston is designed with a clearance fit in the cylinder or is provided with one or more bores. At a low gas flow, this gas flow is directed past the cylinder to a first cyclone on account of the tolerances or bores. If a certain volumetric flow is exceeded, the piston moves inside the cylinder and clears at least one further cyclone for the intermixing of the gas flow. |
