APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EDITING MOVING PICTURE USING PHYSIOLOGICAL SIGNAL

An apparatus and a method for editing a moving picture by using a physiological signal are provided to improve the extraction performance of an event interval and recover the event interval included in a noise interval efficiently by integratedly using two sensors having a complementary characteristic to make a sensing system capable of performing the noise filtering of good quality. A physiological signal generating unit(100) measures a signal for reflecting a feeling state of a photographer who photographs a moving picture, and generates the first physiological signal and the second physiological signal. An event interval extracting unit(200) extracts the first event interval for reflecting the preference of the photographer from a play interval of the photographed moving picture by using the generated first physiological signal, extracts the second event interval for reflecting the preference of the photographer by using the generated second physiological signal, and extracts the last event interval by using the first event interval and the second event interval. An indexing unit(300) synchronizes and indexes the extracted last event interval to the play interval of the moving picture, and edits the moving picture.
