A shift drum device is provided to reduce a length of the shift drum device in a cylindrical axis direction by arranging a connector of a gear position sensor in a main body of the shift drum device. A shift drum device includes a shift fork(44), a shift drum body(34), and a cover member(39). The shift fork is movably mounted on a support shaft(46) and changes a speed of a transmission. The shift drum body is formed in a cylindrical shape. One end in a cylindrical axis direction is opened to form an aperture(34a). One end of the shift fork is inserted into a circumference of the shift drum body. A cam groove(45), which slidingly moves the shift fork, is formed on the shift drum body. The cover member has a disk-like shape and is pressed into the aperture of the shift drum body. |
