<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the length of a serration part of an arm side of a torsion bar device for cab tilting, the torsion bar which urges a tilt type cab in a truck or the like to the tilting direction. <P>SOLUTION: In the torsion bar device for cab tilting, a bracket side serration part formed at the one end of the torsion bar disposed between a pair of tilt hinge brackets is fitted to a bracket side serration hole of the tilt hinge bracket, an arm serration part formed at the other end is fitted to an arm side serration hole of a torsion bar arm, and the movement in the lengthwise direction of the arm side serration part fitted to the arm side serration hole is regulated by a lock bolt screwed in a screw hole formed on the torsion bar arm. A cut-out part having the tip end of the lock bolt to be locked is formed at the outer peripheral part of the arm side serration part over a predetermined angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
