<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a new functional durability-increasing effect and a new functional anti-fatigue agent in a pot ale by-produced on the distillation of Shochu (Japanese distilled spirit), to provide a durability-increasing/anti-fatigue agent contributing to the health of people in a wide age range, and to provide a food or drink containing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The durability-increasing/anti-fatigue agent obtained from brewage distillation residues, and the drink or food containing the same.
