<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech generator capable of generating various speeches by easy operation. <P>SOLUTION: A voice generator 30 includes; a speech corpus 214 wherein speech data of utterances is stored; a speech selection data storage part 210 wherein correspondence relations between note numbers designated in accordance with MIDI standards and utterances; and a MIDI processing part 182, a speech determination part 212, and a speech waveform synthesis part 216 which process speech waveform data of an utterance corresponding to a note number and control information designating a control to the speech waveform data, in response to transmitted MIDI messages to synthesize a speech waveform signal of the utterance using speech waveform data stored in the speech corpus 214 in accordance with a series of MIDI messages and the correspondence relations stored in the speech selection data storage part 210. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
