PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform authentication processing without impairing security even when performing the authentication processing in one sequence. SOLUTION: A reader 1a, 1b sends out a signal storing present time information at prescribed intervals, an RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) tag 4 encrypts a user ID 33 and the present time information stored in the signal sent out from the reader 1a, 1b and transmits them to the reader 1a, 1b, and the reader 1a, 1b authenticates a user carrying the RFID tag 4 on the basis of the user ID 33 and the present time information transmitted from the RFID tag 4.
