PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling mount type air conditioner, reduced in thickness by decreasing the height of a drain pan. SOLUTION: This air conditioner 1 includes: a casing 2 substantially oblong in a plan view; a heat exchanger 5; a blowing fan 3; the drain pan 2b; and a drain pump 7. The heat exchanger 5 is disposed along two long sides of the casing 2 in a plan view of the casing 2 in the casing 2. The drain pan 2b is disposed on the lower side of the heat exchanger 5, and provided with drain water receiving parts 26e, 26f, 26g for receiving the drain water generated by condensation of moisture in the air in the heat exchanger 5 and a drain water reservoir 26h. The drain pump 7 discharges the drain water from the drain water reservoir 26h to the outside of the casing 2.
