PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply device enabling it to improve the quality of applying an ink. SOLUTION: The ink supply device comprises an ink tank 2 for storing the ink 9, a head 3 which is arranged at the position lower than the ink tank 2 and ejects the ink 9 supplied from the ink tank 2 from a nozzle 3a, a vacuum forming section 4 for keeping the inside of a void 10, which is formed above the liquid level 9a of the ink 9 in the ink tank 2, vacuum, a liquid level sensor 5 for detecting a liquid level height h2 of the ink 9 in the ink tank 2 and a control section 8 for applying a constant negative pressure to the ink 9 in the nozzle 3a by computing the height (h1+h2) from the nozzle 3a up to the liquid level 9a with adding the height h1 from the nozzle 3a up to the bottom-plate inside surface of the ink tank 2 and the liquid level height h2 and then making the negative pressure forming section 4 control the negative pressure in the void 10 according to the height (h1+h2).
