PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unify the set directions of media such as passbooks to a plurality of hoppers in a medium handling device capable of issuing the plurality of kinds of media such as passbooks. SOLUTION: In a passbook handling device 100, delivery conveyance paths 132, 134 are provided so as to join a main conveyance path 130 toward the upstream direction in the direction along the main conveyance path on the downstream side and the upstream side of an optical reading part 122 and a printing part 124, respectively.
