PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel, capable of preventing or removing fogging of a lens without enhancing the sealing performance of the lens barrel. SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes a lens barrel body, having a comparatively large-diameter lens positioned closest to the object side and having an opening in the outer periphery located closer to the imaging side than the lens positioned closest to the object side; and a heat source unit, including a heat source unit body with a heat source, and attached freely detachably to the periphery of the opening of the lens barrel. The opening is formed in the lens barrel body part facing the lower end of the lens. The opening is closed by a closing member, having thermal conductivity higher than that of the lens barrel body.
