摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface temperature measuring instrument capable of measuring easily and precisely a surface temperature distribution of an object, even when a measuring temperature range for the object is wide. SOLUTION: This surface temperature measuring instrument 101 includes an infrared camera 110 for detecting an infrared intensity emitted from a relief hole 102b of a forging mold 102, and for detecting a distribution of intensities of three kinds of infrared rays emitted form a cavity face 102a and different in wavelength bands, a surface temporary temperature calculating part 121a for calculating a surface temporary temperature, a storage part 121b for storing a data concerned in a relation between the intensities of the three kinds of infrared rays different in the wavelength bands and the surface temperature of the cavity face 102a, a linear-approximate data calculating part 121c for linear-approximating the data stored by the storage part 121b as to a prescribed temperature zone including the surface temporary temperature, and a surface temperature distribution calculating part 121d for calculating a distribution of the cavity face 102a, based on the distribution of the intensities of the three kinds of infrared rays different in the wavelength bands, and based on a data obtained by the linear approximation.
