PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear guide unit capable of sealing between a slider and a raceway track rail completely and preventing a foreign matter from intruding from an end part of the slider sliding on the raceway track rail in even severe work environment producing large amount of foreign matters. SOLUTION: This linear guide unit is provided with the high tight seal device 3 on the slider 1, and the high tight seal device 3 is composed of a holder case 21 provided with an exterior part 22 and an end face part 23, a plate-like seal plate 20 arranged in a storage part 35 of the holder case 21, and a sealing plate 9 arranged in an opening part in an end part of the exterior part 22. The seal plate 20 is composed of a skin layer 43 in surface layers 33 on both side faces and a sponge layer 42 in an intermediate layer 34 between the surface layers 33, and lubricant is forcedly impregnated in a porous part of the sponge layer 42.
