PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a service life of a pump by equalizing the abrasion of tooth flanks of an inner rotor and an outer rotor of an internal gear pump. SOLUTION: In this internal gear pump, the tooth flanks in the meshing area of the inner rotor 2 with the outer rotor 3 are formed of surfaces having approximate curvatures. For example, the diameter (die) of an epicycloid circle re1 drawing the tooth tip 8a of the epicycloid curve of the inner rotor 2 and the diameter (doe) of the hypocycloid circle re2 drawing the tooth tip 9a of the hypocycloid curve of the outer rotor 3 are equalized with each other, and thereby the tooth flanks in the meshing area of the inner rotor 2 with the outer rotor 3 can have the approximate curvatures.
