PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall panel mounting structure which eliminates problems of insufficient fastening or excessive fastening by a conventional bolt/nut and loosening of the bolt/nut due to vibration, by specially designing a cross sectional shape of a panel mounting fitting, to thereby always ensure stable, positive, and rigid mounting of a wall panel, and to provide the panel mounting fitting. SOLUTION: The panel mounting fitting 3 is made of a metallic plate having elasticity, and has a web 7 which is opposed to a web 4 of a panel support frame 1; a first flange 8 which is extended from and bent at one edge of the web, so as to be opposed to a first flange 5 of the panel support frame 1 via one end 2a of the wall panel 2; a first folded plate 9 which is folded back from a projected edge of the first flange 8 to the outside of the same, and elastically abuts on an internal surface of the one end 2a of the wall panel 2; and a second flange 10 which is extended from and bent at the other edge of the web 7, and elastically abuts on an internal surface of a second flange 6 of the panel support frame 1. Herein a self-drill screw 11 is made to penetrate the web 7 of the panel mounting fitting 3 and the web 4 of the panel support frame 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
