PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a futon allowing even the elderly to operate it for drying the futon or retaining the heat before sleeping with a futon drying machine by integrating the futon with a drying pad. SOLUTION: An interval between a surface cloth 6 and a low air permeable inner cloth 8 and an interval between the low air permeable inner cloth 9 and a lining cloth 7 are filled with a heat retaining material 14 such as wool, polyester, or cotton, a suction inlet 17 is longitudinally or laterally provided in the interval between the low air permeable inner cloth 8 and the low air permeable inner cloth 9, the circumferential edges are joined together, and four clothes of the surface cloth 6, the low air permeable inner cloth 8, the low air permeable inner cloth 9, and the lining cloth 7 are superposed together and directly quilted in the longitudinal direction or the lateral direction, to form a drying pad 21 in the space 14 between the low air permeable cloth 8 and the inner permeable cloth 9.
