PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator for reducing the difference in temperature between the inside and the outside of a fodder tank. SOLUTION: The ventilator usable for the fodder tank having a fodder-charging opening at the upper part and a fodder-taking out opening at the lower part is constituted of a lid part for the fodder tank, having a ventilation opening for ventilating the air whose temperature is increased in the fodder tank, and a rain water-preventing cylinder for preventing the invasion of the rain water from the ventilation opening, and installed in the fodder-charging opening. An insect-proof net is installed in the ventilation opening. A ventilation fan is stored in a part higher than the fodder-charging opening and lower than the ventilation opening. The lid part for the fodder tank is constituted of an umbrella-shaped material covering the opening part. The ventilation fan is driven by a windmill installed in the umbrella-shaped material or by a power. The fodder can be replenished to the fodder tank by removing a hook at the charge of the fodder, and half-turning the ventilator by using an attaching tool as the fulcrum when charging the fodder.
