<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device of an automatic transmission, which can catch a ferrous contaminant contained in a working fluid returning without passing through a strainer. <P>SOLUTION: In the hydraulic control device of the automatic transmission, an ATF flow (first flow) passing through the strainer 23, and an ATF recirculating flow (second flow) not passing through the strainer 23 are merged in a suction side circuit 29 wherein an ATF flows toward a suction port 30a of an oil pump 30 so as to flow back into the oil pump 30. A magnet 50 is disposed near the convergent portion of the first and second flows of the AFT in the suction side circuit 29, so that the ferrous contaminant can be effectively caught by the magnet 50 in the confluent portion wherein the ATF containing the ferrous contaminant generated by wear, etc., of the oil pump 30 stagnates and slows down. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
