PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect and track a target existing inside a transmission blind of a radar device. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with the radar device for radiating a radar transmission wave of a pulse train, and positioning by receiving target reflected waves from a moving target; and a reception-dedicated device installed on a position separated from the radar device. The reception-dedicated device receives a superimposed signal, between a back lobe direct wave from the radar antenna of the radar device and the target reflected wave during transmission of the radar transmission wave, calculates the positional information of the target by extracting a target reflected wave signal from the superimposed signal, and transmits the calculated position information to the radar device. The radar device detects and tracks the target in a transmission blind region based on the position information received from the receive-only device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
