PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize the enhancement of analyzability and analysis accuracy on a suspended particulate matter by measuring continuously in real time the mass concentration of the particulate matter and the analysis of components contained therein by using a set of instruments. SOLUTION: An SPM mass concentration measuring instrument 5 of aβ-ray absorption system measures the mass concentration of SPM by detecting the transmitted amount ofβrays with theβrays applied to the SPM collected into a collection spot 9 where SPM in sample gas SG is collected which is sucked from atmospheric air. An analyzer 21 causes the collection spot 9 to automatically move to a heating chamber 7 after mass concentration measurement and analyzes volatile gas components in the SPM which are set free and condensed by heating there.
