PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively eliminate or restrain cold air accumulation without increasing a refrigeration load of an open showcase, in an air conditioner for a shop for blowing out hot air toward the cold air accumulation area on a shop floor surface. SOLUTION: This air conditioner for a shop has an air outlet 8 in an upper part in the vicinity of a freezing/refrigerating open showcase installed in the shop, and is used for blowing out hot air toward the cold air accumulation area 7 on the shop floor surface from the air outlet 8. In the air conditioner for a shop, the air outlet 8 is divided into a central main passage 17, and auxiliary passages 18 and 19 in its outside, and the flow speed of airflows blowed out of the auxiliary passages 18 and 19 are set larger than that of the main passage 17. When a distribution/supply duct of air into the shop is provided with a trapezoidal box-shaped air supply duct, the distribution duct is connected to the air supply duct by a bend, the inside of the bend is divided into a plurality of bent passages, and the air supply duct is provided with a porous flow-equalizing member in its inside.
