PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent washing agent for a glass electrode not requiring a useless cost in preservation or keeping, having the optimum pH in the vicinity of neutrality, not damaging the glass electrode by washing, having the optimum temperature in the vicinity of room temperature, inexpensive in a degree of a general reagent and having no toxity. SOLUTION: The washing agent for the glass electrode contains pancreatin. Herein, "pancreatin" is mainly produced from the pancreas of an animal and contains various enzymes having a digestion capacity with respect to starch, fat and protein. Concretely, this pancreatin contains protease such as trypsin, pepsin, papain, etc., amylase and lipase as main components and also contains many other enzymes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
