PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick connector capable of surely preventing a retainer from coming out from a retainer retention part to an axis perpendicular direction outward even if engagement of an engagement claw preventing movement of the retainer in a push-in direction of an axis perpendicular direction and a corresponding retainer retention part side engagement part is released by insertion of a mating pipe. SOLUTION: In the quick connector including a cylindrical connector main body 16, and the retainer 18 installed in the retainer retention part 22 in the axis perpendicular direction and enabling the mating pipe 10 to be inserted in a connector housing 24 to an insertion completion position at an axis perpendicular direction retreat position and locking the mating pipe under a coming out prevention condition at an axis perpendicular direction press in position, the retainer 18 is provided with a base part 42, a coming out prevention leg 44, a claw 48, a cam part 64 for engagement release, and a claw 66 preventing the retainer 18 from coming out to the axis perpendicular direction outward.
