PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing capable of improving positioning precision when mounting an ultrasonic sensor and obtaining pre-load with high precision. SOLUTION: A sensor mounting face being vertical to the direction of contact angle is provided in a part receiving pre-load of a raceway track member 3, and the ultrasonic sensor 2 is attached onto the sensor mounting face. A processing means has a pre-load computing part for obtaining pre-load by utilizing a correlation between pre-load and an echo ratio obtained by the expression, namely, the echo ratio = 100 x (H(t) - L(t))/H(t), wherein H(t) is echo strength when a rolling body leaves the ultrasonic sensor by half pitch, and L(t) is echo strength when the rolling body is positioned just under the ultrasonic sensor.
