The unit has rectifier bridges (5, 6, 7), where the bridge (5) controls a switching relay. The switching relay is used for switching of the bridge (6) and a rechargeable battery from series operation to parallel operation. The bridge (6) supplies the rechargeable battery and a lamp with energy that is generated by a dynamo. The bridge (7) operates and charges a rechargeable battery of external electronic devices such as global positioning system (GPS)-navigation unit (13), camera (14), mobile phone (15), motion picture expert group layer 3 (MP3) player (16) and disc man (17).
