Active agent combination (A) comprises at least a chloropyridine-furanone compound (I) and at least a compound such as acrinathrin, alpha-cypermethrin, betacyfluthrin, gamma-cyhalothrin, cypermethrin, deltamethrin, esfenvalerate, ethofenprox, fenpropathrin, fenvalerate, flucythrinate, lambda-cyhalothrin, permethrin, taufluvalinate, tralomethrin, zeta-cypermethrin, cyfluthrin, bifenthrin, cycloprothrin, eflusilanate, fubfenprox, pyrethrin compound (II), resmethrin or tefluthrin. Active agent combination (A) comprises at least a chloropyridine-furanone compound (I) of formula and at least a compound such as acrinathrin, alpha-cypermethrin, betacyfluthrin, gamma-cyhalothrin, cypermethrin, deltamethrin, esfenvalerate, ethofenprox, fenpropathrin, fenvalerate, flucythrinate, lambda-cyhalothrin, permethrin, taufluvalinate, tralomethrin, zeta-cypermethrin, cyfluthrin, bifenthrin, cycloprothrin, eflusilanate, fubfenprox, pyrethrin compound (II) of formula, resmethrin or tefluthrin. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for combating animal pest comprising applying (A) on the animal pest or its habitat and/or seeds; (2) a method for producing insecticidal and acaricidal agent comprising mixing (A) with diluting agent and/or surface active agent; and (3) a seed treated with (A).
