An exercise bicycle having effects of equitation (horseback riding) is provided to rock the body of an exerciser in a vertical direction whenever wheels of the bicycle rotate, thereby exerting intensive exercise effects within a short amount of time. An exercise bicycle having effects of equitation (horseback riding) includes: a frame(100); a seat(40); a steering wheel(12); a driving block(30); a driving power transfer device(32); and a wheel(20) having a latch gear(22) with a wheel axis receiving the power from the driving power transfer device(32). The wheel(20) has a buffering section constituted by a shock absorber, a resilient material (e.g., spring), a supplementary spoke for preventing the deformation of the shock absorber, and an outer rim. Whenever a front wheel and/or a rear wheel rotate at a specific angle, an operation rim and the buffering section shake an exerciser vertically. |
