METHOD FOR INHIBITING SIGNAL TRANSDUCTION, SIGNAL TRANSDUCTION INHIBITOR TO BE USED THEREIN AND USE THEREOF

It is intended to provide a method for inhibiting activation of signal transduction pathway through erbB1 or erbB2 in human cells and a signal transduction inhibitor to be used in the method. The activation of signal transduction pathway can be inhibited by a polypeptide containing at least either one of PTB domain of human FRS2ß or ERK2-binding domain. The polypeptide may be introduced to a cell as such or a nucleic acid encoding the polypeptide may be introduced to a cell to express the polypeptide therein. Such a polypeptide or nucleic acid can be used as, for example, a signal transduction inhibitor. Further, erbB1 and erbB2 are involved in occurrence of cancer, therefore, the signal transduction inhibitor is also useful as, for example, an anticancer agent.
